Apr 25, 2012 - Slipknot didn't break up. They toured with a new bassist who had played guitar for them before they were signed to RoadRunner. They headlined Sonisphere last year and are headlining Mayhem this year, and (fingers crossed) will start working on an album late next year. Slipknot and Disturbed are easily the best of the newer metal bands. They're consistently heavy and though their sound has evolved a bit over time, they haven't strayed from the energy that made them so great to begin with.
