"Yes, I'm all settled." Demi said into the phone sighing, after the death of her parents she had been on the rum for the past six weeks. "That's great, keep your guard up and call once a week.' her lawyer said gently, they hung up and Demi looked around sighing. "Sel, we have new neighbors, could you drop this off for me?" Mandy called down the stairs, Sel grumbled and ran upstairs. "Sure mom." Sel said sighing, she took the plate of cookes and left the house heading next door. "Coming!" Demi called out, she ran to the door and flung it open smiling at the girl standing there. "Hi, i'm Selena Gomez. Welcome to the neighborhood, my mom made these for you." Sel announced handing the plate to the smaller girl. "Thanks that's sweet, I'm Demi Lovato would you like to come in?" Demi asked softly, she knew she wasn't supposed to give her real name but she had moved so often and had so many different names that she just wanted a small sense of normalcy. "I don't want to be a bother." Sel said, she looked around curiously wondering where Demi's parents were. "its no bother, you could share these delectable cookies with me." Demi announced, Sel giggled and soon they were talking like old friends. "Frankie, come on help us unpack!" Joe called down the stairs, Frankie grumbled to himself and grabbed some bags. "Thanks buddy." Nick said grinning, Frankie nodded and went to his room to unpack his things. "How's Frankie doing?" Danielle asked Kevin softly, Kevin sighed hugging her gently. "Better, he just doesn't understand why this happened." He replied, Dani nodded and understanding. "I'll go see if he would like some help." She murmered, he smiled gratefully and she walked off. "You going to go see Sel?" Joe asked Nick, Nick sighed shaking his head slightly. "I'm not sure, I mean even though we moved I haven't broken up with Miley and I know Sel had a crush on me before we left and I don't want to encourage it." nick replied shrugging his shoulders, Joe rolled his eyes. "No offense Nick to you, but do you honestly think Miley will stay faithful to you while we're here I mean come on.' Joe said raising his eyebrow, Nick sighed knowing he was right. "I know its just, I'm not sure how Sel will react when she sees me." Nick announced, they didn't know what had happened between them before they had moved to Hollywood. "You never know unles you go see her." Kevin stated, Joe laughed and Nick rolled his eyes. "Yeah Yeah, I'll go to her house and see if she wants to get dinner." Nick grumbled, Keivn and joe smiled to each other. "Where are your parents?" Sel asked curiously, Demi tensed slightly but knew it was an innocent question. "their on a business trip so I'm here for a few days by myself." Demi replied smiling slightly, Sel raised her eyebrows. "how old are you?" she asked, her mom would never let her be alone for a few days. "Fifteen," Demi replied laughing softly, Sel just shrugged. "Well I should get home, I'll see you at school tomorrow." Sel announced, Demi sighed sadly knowing she was going to be lonely. "Alright, see you then." Demi said she let her out the door then locked it and the two double bolts. "Nick?" Sel said curiously she had been thinking about Demi and when she looked up he was standing at her door. "Sel" Nick said softly, his eyes smiling. Sel flew at him throwing her arms around his neck making him hit the door. "I'm so sorry about your parents." She said softly, Nick was surprised at the hug for a minute then wrapped his arms around her waist clinging to her tightly. "Thank you Sel, that means a lot." he said softly, she pulled back and smiled up at him. "you want to come inside?" she asked curiously, Nick shook his head slightly and her face fell. "I was hoping you would like to get dinner with me." Nick said quickly, Sel perked up and nodded excitedly. "That would be nice." She murmered, he smiled and they headed towards his car. "Kevin, I'm going for a walk!" Joe called as he headed towards the door. "Okay but be back soon, we're gonna be having dinner in twenty!" Kevin called back, Joe smiled to himself as he shut the door. Joe started walking down the street looking around, he had a lot on his mind. The police had said his parents were killed in a car crash but him and his brothers beleived they had been murdered. they had been watching the news and seen another case the same way. Hoping to find the girl whose parents had been killed in a car crash they had moved back home after their private investigator found information that she had headed there. "Bagel stop it!" Demi ordered, she glared at her pug and tugged the leash gently. Joe paused watching and tried not to grin the dog was not moving an inch. "Hey." Joe murmered, Demi glanced up and her eyes almost bulged from her head. "What are you doing here?!" Demi demanded, Joe stared at her curiously as she frantically searched in her pockets.
