"I mean I'm glad she is opening up about all the stuff that she's been through and telling the truth about some of her friends, I'm just wondering if she's perpared to face some of the consequences." Joe explained, Paul nodded watching him closely. "You still care about Demi, don't you?" Paul asked curiously, Joe nodded slightly. "I never stopped caring about her dad, but the way she was treating me due to her Bipolar was a little hard for me to handle." Joe confesed, Paul nodded in understanding. "Well, i think she is doing a great thing to let everyone know that she is a victim as much as everyone else even more so." Paul stated, Demi groaned softly and they quickly opened the curtain that seperated the two beds. "how you feeling Demi?" Joe asked softly sitting on the bed beside her. "Pretty good actually, getting my mom to sign that paper was very important to me.' Demi said softly, Joe nodded smiling at the memory. "She sure was not happy, do you think she will do something to get back at you?" Paul asked from the next bed, Joe and Demi glanced at him. "Of course, but I can't live my life worrying about that now can I." Demi said chuckling softly, she slowly sat up and waited unitl the room stopped spinning. 'Thats my girl." paul said grinning, Demi smiled back and Joe just sat there enjoying the moment. "I need to head home, Bubba's probably wondering where I'm at." Demi announced, Joe stared at her confused and a little bit jealous. "Whose bubba?" he demanded, Paul rolled his eyes smiling. "My dog." Demi said softly, she giggled and Joe rolled his eyes. "Alright, I'll take you home." Joe announced, Demi looked at him cautioiusly and he took her arm gently. "Take your time." Paul said smiling gently, Joe glared at him and he laughed. "thanks again for driving me home." Demi said smiling slightly, Joe glanced at her and smiled back. "Its no probably, its really the least I could do, you did save my dad's life." Joe said he pulled into her driveway and helped her out. "I didn't do anything special, someone else would have done the same." Demi murmered, he rolled his eyes and took the key from her hand openning the door. "Come on Demi," Joe said gently, he shut the door just as he spotted some reporters running towards them. "Are your curtains open?" he demanded. "Yes, why did you see something?"Demi demanded, Joe lifted her up into his arms rushing towards the couch in the living room. "Reporters." Joe muttered, Demi sighed and watched as Joe quickly shut all the curtains and made sure everything was locked, a few minutes later he sat down and smiled. "You must be hungry, want some dinner?" Demi asked softly, Joe nodded and he stood up moving towards the kitchen. "What would you like Dems?" Joe called out, Demi rolled her eyes. "I meant I could make you something!" she called back, Joe chuckled moving towards the door peeking out at her. "Don't even think about getting off that couch." He warned, she sighed and turned on the tv grumbling. "Hi nick." Miley said softly, Nick glanced up from his food and stared at her surprised. "Miley, i didn't think you would come." he said quickly finishing his food he stood up. "We'll be right back." his family watched curiously as he took miley's arm and they left the cafeteria. "What's going on?" she asked curiously, they may have had a rough break up but she still cared deeply for him. "I uh, wanted to say I'm sorry for what happened between us." Nick blurted, her eyes widened surprised and she smiled slightly. "You read Demi's book didn't you?" she demanded, Nick shrugged and nodded his head. "The book isn't the reason why i'm apologizing, I always had a feeling that Sel was not as nice as she seemed but I was to afraid to say anything. I knew that I hurt you deeply with the stuff and things that I did. Do you think you could forgive me?" he explained not looking at her, Miley smiled slightly and slid her arms around his waist. "of course i forgive you.' miley murmered, Nick looked at her and hugged her back. "Well it looks like Demi's book is achieving its goal, destroying and repairing lives." Nick announced, Miley giggled softly and they stood there hugging gently. "This is really good Joe." Demi murmered as she ate the soup and pasta he had made. "Thanks, if i wasn't a singer I wanted to be a chef." he confessed, Demi grinned and kept eating. "What do you think Joe, did I do the right thing with having that book published?" she asked hesitantly, Joe sighed and looked at her closely. "I think it was a good idea and a very brave thing, because of what you wrote Nick and miley are probably going to try and repair their relationship." joe replied, Demi's eyes widened in surprise. "really? I didn't know that, was Nick very angry about what i revealed about Sel?" demi asked softly looking down into her coffee. **five comments please**
