I first heard this tune as part of the soundtrack for the PBS special "The Civil War", which originally aired back in the 90's. I actually learned to play the violin parts on a wailing electric guitar, which I'm sure drove my folks nuts at the time. This version is much more pleasant! Feb 5, 2011 - Is your version available to download anywhere? The Soundclick links don't seem to work. If this was in iTunes, I'd give happily pay the $.99 or whatever. It's a nice cover, I like the slower speed.
