May 24, 2012 - the instrument has 2 piezo cable pickups built into it which are installed under the entire length of the playing field so that every tine or note is picked up evenly. The instrument is plugged into the stereo mic input on the video camera. That's it. No effects or signal processing or fancy recording systems. The pickups are fantastic on their own. The camera is a basic Canon Elura 100
