Please do not dislike just because of the couples. I'm a fan of every couple that the show throws at us, they somehow make it work. XD super glowing clips is "the other side" regular color is the normal world and Klaus ghost is black and white while everything else is in color. It was a bitch to try to do. XD Story: Klaus walks away after Caroline says she's disappointed in him. Caroline goes back to "the other side" and tells the person waiting for her that she did what he asked and that she rejected Klaus. So Klaus decides to be stuck in a kind of limbo state where he basically becomes a ghost. He visits Elena in the hospital who actually survived and he apologizes and I didn't show this here because I was lazy, but he tells Damon to go see her and Damon is grateful that she's alive. Klaus is surprisingly happy that he managed to help them get closer. Caroline begs her dad to let Klaus join her because she sees that he's changed and that he really does love her since he was willing to change for her, but her dad (who in my story gets the final say) gets angry at her and locks her up, she's frightened and cries out for Klaus who hears her and comes to her rescue just before her father could hurt her anymore with hell's fire (yeah that horribly edited scene of Klaus throwing something and then Bill with his eyes closed was supposed to be Klaus throwing Bill and thus knocking him out.). He then takes Caroline away and they go off to their own side of heaven where he apologizes to her and tells her that he would do anything for her, he hopes that she doesn't hate him. She confesses that she was hurt that he almost killed someone just because he was feeling miserable but she could never hate him and they kiss and live happily ever after. So in my story on the "other side" everyone lives in like a house and the new dead souls need permission to enter the house, that's why Caroline's dad had the final say in whether Klaus could come in or not.
