I love to sing songs that have an emotional appeal. I have sung since I was a little boy, first at family gatherings on Sunday afternoons from the age of 6, then in school choirs, a lead role in a school musical, and later as lead singer in a band. I sing in my own voice but am influenced by the great song stylists of the past few decades, many of whom I have been lucky enough to have seen in concert: Tony Bennett, Jack Jones and others. My favourite singers are those who have a style recognisably their own. ---------------------------------------------------- I live in Scotland.
