*NEW UPDATES* TONIGHT! Kip's Irish Pub! in St. Louis Park, 9PM-11PM, FREE! -Debut album, 1st Rail, is for sale. Only $15!! Recorded in Matt "Dr." Fink's (Prince's former organ player) studio. Call 612-986-3077 or email dukesopiwnik@yahoo.com My name is Luke, onstage known as Little Diamonds. Three Easter's ago, as I was sitting around the house with winter bordem, my dad told me to grab the guitar, the harmonicas. "We're going Honky Tonking'," he told me. Prior to this, I'd been strumming the guitar and blowing the harmonica around the house playing Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Band, and Rockabilly music. My dad explains later that I was getting pretty good. The whole music thing started after my grandpa past away and I got his old piece of junk guitar. I don't know what kind it was. All I know is that it was made of wood and had strings. You can see this guitar in one of my earlier videos. I never got a lesson on the guitar nor the harmonica nor the banjo nor the organ. I just picked them up one day and figured them out and it wasn't that difficult. One of the most common questions I get asked by people is "Do you ever get nervous onstage?". My answer is "No." It's natural for me. Its like how someone wakes up in the morning and eats breakfast. I wake up and eat breakfast, and after all my school work is done, music is my thing. Another common question that I get asked is "How did you get interested in this style of music?" My answer is my dad. Since I was a baby, my dad played old, legandary, meaningful music on the cassete player in the car. I remember our old oldies tape. It had Sixteen Tons on it by Earnie Ford. I remember hearing that song many times a day in the car, or out in the garage. Along with his role in the music, my dad is the most important person in my life. Theres no one on this earth that I could love or trust more than my dad Duke. I was raised on spring water, dear meat, grouse, pheasent, bear meat, and many other kinds of wild game. He's the best cook anyone could have. He feeds me the healthiest stuff imaginable. He doesn't feed me all that junk food. I've also opened for The Turtles, Denny Laine of Paul McCartney's Wings, Felix Caviliere of The Young Rascals, and Three Dog Night at the State Theatre. Just recently I opened for the Ozark Mountain Daredevils in Green Bay, Wisconsin. *To contact Little Diamonds Music, email Duke, the manager, at dukesopiwnik@yahoo.com*
